The Harold and Josephine Gulamerian Armenian Orphan Fund

The chief executive officer of B-Air in Azusa, California, Eddie Demirdjian oversees the production of industrial air moving and treatment equipment for use in a variety of industries. Outside of his executive responsibilities, Eddie Demirdjian supports numerous charitable and political organizations, including the Society for Orphaned Armenian Relief (SOAR).

Operating through a cooperative agreement with SOAR, the Harold and Josephine Gulamerian Armenian Orphan Fund strives to educate and empower children and adults of Armenian descent throughout the world who have been orphaned. Since its establishment in 2013, this non-denominational charitable organization has assisted Armenians who have been orphaned through initiatives that range from school construction to mattress donation. Over the years, the Harold and Josephine Gulamerian Armenian Orphan Fund has spearheaded projects for orphanages and orphan summer camps in Armenia, Lebanon, Javakh, Artsakh, and Syria.

The Fund is named after Harold Gulamerian and his wife Josephine. Mr. and Mrs. Gulamerian became inspired to help people who have been orphaned while visiting Armenia in the late 1990s.
